Range Description

This species is endemic to the island of New Guinea (Papua New Guinea only), where it is known from the type locality close to Sturt Island Camp on the lower Fly River. It has recently been collected by Tanya Leary on the Darai Plateau, and is known now from the slopes of north-western Basavi (collection in the Bishop Museum, Hawaii). It has been collected from sea level to 1,400 m asl.
