Range Description

Talpa levantis is found along the southern edge of the Black Sea, from southeastern Bulgaria through Turkey through the Caucasus region to the Caspian sea countries of Azerbaijan and Iran (Corbet 1978, Wilson and Reeder 2005). It is found from sea level to 2,400 m in the Caucasus.
