Range Description

The species as currently recognized is from Luzon island (Philippines). It is described as endemic to the Central Cordillera of northern Luzon (Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, and Mountain provinces) from approximately 1,000-2,000 m occasionally to 2,500 m (Musser 1982; Rabor 1955; Sanborn 1952). Due, however, to taxonomic uncertainty of the species, the true distribution range is not known (Heaney pers. comm.).
