Range Description

This species is known only from the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It has been recorded at an altitudinal range of 1,100 to 2,500 m, with an estimated extent of occurrence of about 2,000 km, and and area of occupancy of around 450 km based on the available habitat in the central highlands (Molur et al. 2005).
