Both Fish Crows and American Crows are present in the Everglades (possibly more American Crows, at least in my experience). Diagnostic characters aren't obvious here so it is hard to decide if it is truly a Fish Crow.

Not sure what the source of this map is. Madge and Burn (1994) show breeding-only areas extending further north surrounding the Mississippi River, to Lake Michigan.

This picture really doesn't have many distinguishing characteristics or location to flag it as a fish crow rather than an american crow, although the tail seems a little shorter and the tree (magnolia?) looks plausible for a fish crow. I'm trusting it anyway, on the reputation of the photographer.
