Interesting, this is due to homonymy of the louse Nitzschia with the diatom Nitzschia. There's also a flatworm genus with that name, and the louse genus appears to be the junior homonym. I have put this on our list of things to fix.

This 'plate' contains images of many different species. For it to make sense, we either need to know which sketch(es) refer to Diploneis smithii or have the Diploneis smithii images pulled out from the plate and presented separately.
