Range Description

Magnolia doltsopa is found on the Indian sub-continent where it occurs in the eastern Himalayan region and the Meghalaya subtropical forests in India, at 1,000 m asl. It occurs in Nepal, Bhutan, India (Assam), North Myanmar, and China (Xizang, NW Yunnan) at elevations between 1,500 and 2,400 m asl.
