Flask-shaped, about 10 × 4 μm, producing conidia by a non-progressive replacement wall-building apex system with percurrent proliferation. Conidia. Globose or ovate, 2-2.5 μm diam. Ascomata. Perithecial scattered, superficial, 400-600 × 150-260 μm, elongate ovoid, to oblong-conical, with short, olivaccous-brown, septate agglutinated hairs. Asci. Cylindrical, 100-140 × 15-19 μm; with small apical ring, 4-spored, with spores arranged obliquely in a single row. Ascospores. Ellipsoid, 19-22.5 × 11-13 μm; exospore thin; primary appendage short, slender, cylindrical, about 10 × 2 μm; secondary appendages lash-like, upper one slightly eccentric, lower one at distal end of primary appendage; germ pore apical, about 1.5 μm diam.
