Range Description

This species occurs from southern Scandinavia south to Spain and eastwards to western Siberia and western Caucasus.

In Turkey, its found at the following locations:
  • Kırklareli: 2-4 km SSW of İğneada;
  • Sakarya (Adapazarı), 800-900 m;
  • Bolu: Yeniçağ lake river;
  • Samsun: Kızılay Camp, 5 m;
  • Manisa; Konya: 15 km S of Beyşehir, 1,100 m;
  • Konya: Lake of Ereğli (Ak Lake Sazlık), 1,160 m;
  • Hatay: Balık lake (Davis 1965-1985);
  • Kırklareli: Erikli Lake;
  • Adapazarı: Sapanca Lake;
  • Bolu: Yeniçağa Lake (Reşadiye Lake);
  • Samsun: Gernek Lake (Çernek Lake);
  • Samsun: Balık Lake (Ulu Lake);
  • Denizli: Gök Lake;
  • Isparta: Eğirdir Lake;
  • Konya: Beyşehir Lake (Seçme and Leblebici);
  • Bitlis: Doğanlı village, Kalem Mountain, open forest, 1,800 m (Altıok and Behçet 2005).
