Range Description

Halophila euphlebia is endemic to Japan. It occurs in the Ryukyu Islands and southeast Japan (Uchimura et al. 2006). There is a possibility that this species has been collected in the Philippines, and may be misidentified based on genetics as H. ovalis (Uchimura et al. 2006).
