Range Description

Spiranthes casei occurs in eastern Canada and northeastern United States. This orchid was only recognised as a separate species in 1974. The taxon (two varieties) is reported to be found in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada and Wisconsin, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont, USA (Govaerts 2004).
