Range Description

C. lasiocarpa occurs throughout northern Europe and European Russia, east through western Siberia and the Caucasus to the Amur coast, Sakhalin Island, Japan and the Korean Peninsula. It also occurs throughout much of northern North America as well as California and Northern Mexico. In Europe, it occurs throughout Scandinavia and the Baltic States south into France where it is locally scarce, Spain and Italy and east to Romania, Bulgaria and the Ukraine.
