Range Description

The species is a northern temperate species, occurring throughout much of Europe north of the Mediterranean Basin, including the Baltic states and European Russia, extending east through Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to Myanmar, China (Heilongjiang Province), and Japan (Preston 1995, Wiegleb and Kaplan 1998, Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet 2010, efloras 2011). It also occurs in northern North America including Canada and Alaska.
