Range Description

Dendrocalamus giganteus occurs in Asia, Myanmar, India, China and Thailand. The species has also been introduced in Madagascar (Jacobs et al. 2000) and in Sri Lanka in 1856 (Ramanayake and Yakandawala 1998).
