Range Description

Cypripedium micranthum is endemic to China. The species is confined to north Sichuan (Jiuzhaigou, Pingwu) and north Chongping. The extent of occurrence (EOO) is estimated at 3,000 km² and the area of occupancy (AOO) is estimated at 250 km². The species occurs between 2,000 and 2,500 m altitude.
