Range Description

Cypripedium shanxiense occurs in northeastern and central China (Shanxi, West Hubei, Ningxia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, South Nei Mongol, South Gansu, East Quinghai and in North West to West Sichuan), in Japan (Hokkaido) and in Far Eastern Russia (Chita Province, southwest of Amur Province, south and east of Khabarovsk, Primoyre territories and southern Sakhlin). The extent of occurrence(EOO)is estimatedat 1,453,000kmandthe area of occupancy(AOO)is estimatedat 2,233km. The species occursbetween 1,000 and 3,400 m altitude.
