Range Description

Cypripedium calcicola is endemic to China. The species is confined to the northwestern Yunnan, west to northern Sichuan and Shaanxi.

Cypripedium calcicola can be found between 2,600 and 3,900 m altitude.

The extent of occurrence (EOO) is estimated at 170,800 km² and the area of occupancy (AOO) is estimated at 250 km².
