Subspecies distribution

There are two subspecies of Brodiaea terrestris:

* Brodiaea terrestris subsp. terrestris, occurring in all California coastal counties between Del Norte and Santa Barbara, as well as the San Francisco Bay area and Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern Counties. This subspecies is also found in southwestern Oregon.

* Brodiaea terrestris subsp. kernensis, occurring in Central and Southern California from Santa Cruz and Fresno Counties south to San Diego and Riverside Counties.
