Range Description

A. acutiflorum is native to south France, Corsica and northwest Italy (Mathew 1996). In France this species occurs in the south and southeastern departments of Aude, Pyrénées Orientales, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, as well as in Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud (Association Tela Botanica 2000–2010). In Italy it is present in Liguria and there are unconfirmed occurrences in Piamonte. It has been cited as occurring in Spain but this is erroneous.
