Range Description

This lizard is endemic to the mountains of southeastern Guatemala (Cerro Miramundo), where it can be found at elevations of 2,200 to 2,630 m asl. (Khler 2003, Wilson and Johnson 2010). The area of Cerro Miramundo is around 900 km2and the species' extent of occurrence is less than this, as it is restricted to the top of the mountain.
