Range Description

The species is endemic to Costa Rica (Savage 2002, Sasa et al. 2010); it is found in the premontane and lower montane zones of Cordillera de Tilarn, Cordillera Central, and Cordillera de Talamanca (Savage 2002). It has an elevation range from 1,200 to 1,710 meters (Sasa et al. 2010).
