James Parham commented on an older version of Clemmys insculpta:

This image appears under Clemmys, but should only be under Glyptemys. Some Glyptemys images are also INCORRECTLY appearing under Clemmys. Since all have to be hid, some really nice Glyptemys images are being hid. Can we make it so they don't appear under Clemmys and don't have to be hid?

James Parham commented on an older version of Clemmys insculpta:

This should not appear under Clemmys. This should appear under Glyptemys. There is a problem with the synonymy. Clemmys is an old name for this species, but it has been moved to Glyptemys, even in the Catolog of Life taxonomy. I have raised this issue several times. Given the present situation it is impossible for any Glyptemys images to appear since they also appear under Clemmys and I was recommended to hide them. There are many great images for Glyptemys that I solicited from people and they put on Flickr. It would be nice to be able to show them.

James Parham commented on an older version of Glyptemys insculpta, juvenile:

This image appears under Clemmys, but it should only appear under Glyptemys. Glyptemys species used to be in Clemmys so this is a synonymy problem. Note that many images of Glyptemys are hidden for this reason.

James Parham commented on an older version of Glyptemys insculpta (mating):

There is a problem with the synonymy intelligence. This species "insculpta" is no longer in the genus Clemmys and its so should not appear on the Clemmys genus page. It should only appear on the Glyptemys genus page.
