Distribution: S Mexico (from the vicinity of Tehuantepec westward to Puerto Escondido and eastward to Juchitan, Oaxaca),  Nicaragua (Chontales, Matagalpa, Jinotega, Boaco, Managua, Granada),  El Salvador, NW Costa Rica (Guanacaste)  
Type locality: unknown. Restricted to Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, by BAILEY 1928.
