Range Description

This species is known from Colombia (north and east of the Andes, as far east as the Magdalena river) and from Panama. In Colombia, the species is very common north of the Magdalena and Cauca river valleys, in the Uraba and Caribe; it was found as far north and east as Becerril in the Cesar Departament, and Colosó in Sucre Departament, and on the Pacific coast in the Nuqui municipality in the Choco Departament, but with no more specimens having been found anywhere north of this locality (J. Arredondo pers. comm.). This species is found between sea level and 510 m above sea level.
