Photo location safely excludes other grackle species; only Common occurs that far north. Also at full resolution, the purple gloss on the head only is visible.

It is unclear which species of grackle this photograph is showing. Although the information bar lists it as a 'common grackle', features that would distinguish it from related species (quality and extent of iridescence, shape and organization of retrices) are absent from the photograph. In light of this, I am giving this photo an 'untrusted' designation.
