Turkey vulture

The vulture soars high in the sky

Then he dips back close to the ground

Gliding, diving out of sight

Right into the tree where he will be found

He lacks the feathers on his head

But makes up for them with his sense of smell

Being the first to arrive at the kill

With others following him as well
