Range Description

This species is only recorded in the central highlands of the State of Mexico, near the city of Toluca, in the Río Lerma and the Lerma Lake, and around Almolya, at 2,800-3,000m asl. It is possible that this taxon is more widespread that current records indicate, but more work is needed to confirm this.
