The waggle dance is not limited to western honeybees. It is also found in all honeybee species in slight variations of frequency and magnitude.

The wooden barrels seems like traditional bee hives for apiculture. However, it is not clear that if the hives have kept the western honeybees or another Apis species native to Burkina Faso in Africa.
