Range Description

This species is found in southern Colombia, Venezuela, the Guianas, Suriname, Ecuador, Peru, and northern Brazil (Eisenberg and Redford, 1999; Pacheco et al., 1995; Tirira, 1999). It has been caught in moist areas from 100 to 1000 m elevation, but in Venezuela, the vast majority has been taken below 500 m (Handley, 1976).Also in Bolivia.
