Range Description

This species is known from the following mountain ranges in northeastern, eastern and southern Tanzania: North Pare, South Pare, West Usambara, East Usambara, Nguu, Nguru, Uluguru, Rubeho, Udzungwa (south at least to the Kihansi Gorge), and Mount Rungwe. It possibly occurs in some of the coastal forests of Tanzania, but this requires confirmation. It is a montane species, and has been recorded at 850-2,050m asl, possibly wider.
