Range Description

This species is known from two localities. The first is the type locality: Río Palenque, 47km south of Santo Domingo de los Colorados, in Pichincha Province, north-western Ecuador, at 170m asl. The second is Montañas de Bilsa, in Esmeraldas Province. It is likely to occur at least a little more widely. This species has been recorded from 225-450m asl.
