Ovalipes ocellatus, also known as the ocellate lady crab, is a species of crab from eastern North America. Its shell is covered in clusters of purple spots. The distribution of this species extends from Canada to Georgia and it lives mainly on molluscs, such as the Atlantic surf clam.
