Range Description

This species was located in Carrollton, Carroll County, Mississippi (Fetzner 2008). However, recent attempts to locate this species in Caroll County weere unsuccessful, as the habitat was not suitable. Furthermore, burrows, which may be from this species, were seen in Caroll County, Alabama, and targeted surveys are planned. In addition, it is thought that it may be locally Extinct in Mississippi (S. Adams. pers. comm. 2009).
