Range Description

Onychothemis testacea is a widespread species, occurring from India and Sri Lanka (e.g. Fraser 1936, Prasad and Varshney 1995), Myanmar (e.g. Asahina 1970), Thailand (e.g. Asahina 1981, 1989; Hmlinen and Pinratana 1999), Peninsular Malaysia (e.g. Laidlaw 1931, Lieftinck 1954, Orr 2005), Viet Nam, Lao PDR and China including Taiwan, Hainan and Hong Kong (e.g. Wilson 2004, 2005).
