Macrohabitat: Lowlands to midlands, 30-1219 meters altitude. Microhabitat: On open wet, sandy or gravelly ground at the margins of rivers, brooks, and ponds. Dispersal abilites: Macropterous, capable of flight. Strong burrower. Seasonal occurrences: Adults have been found in February-August, and October-November. Behavior: Nocturnal, adults take cover during the day in burrows dug in the ground (adult and larva). Adults occasionally found at lights at night.
