Range Description

This species is known from Oconee and Pickens counties in South Carolina, USA (A. Eversole pers. comm. 2009). It is also known from Rabun County, Georgia (Hobbs 1981). LeGrand et al. (2006) also cite streams in the Savannah drainage in Jackson, Macon, and Transylvania counties, North Carolina. The extent of occurrence of this species is estimated at 5,426 km. The number of sites from which this species is known has been extended over the last 10 years, though actual range extent has not (A. Eversole pers. comm. 2009).
