Macrohabitat: Midlands, 1000-1500 meters altitude, in open live-oak and juniper woodlands with large boulder fields. Microhabitat: Adults are ground-dwelling on sandy substrate among large boulders. Dispersal abilities: Brachypterous, hence flightless thus vagility limited to walking and running; slow runners. Seasonal occurrence: Adults are active in April- September. Behavior: Adults are nocturnal, taking cover during the day in mammal burrows, or under stones. Adults are predaceous on large arthropods. Larvae are unknown.
