Range Description

This species is known from the upper Amazon Basin in Ecuador within a latitudinal range encompassed by the Ro Napo to the north and the Ro Curary to the south. Also known from two localities near Iquitos, Junction of Ro Yanamono and Ro Amazonas, Quebrada Grande, junction of Ro Sucusari and Ro Napo Departamento Loreto, in northeastern Peru. It has been recorded from Leticia in Colombia. All localities are from 100-250m in elevation. Further work is likely needed to understand if this species occurs more widely.
