Range Description

This European endemic is restricted to the Gulf of Bothnia and is found in Finland, Sweden, and North European Russia in Karelia.
The area of occupancy in Sweden is 252 km², the range of the species in Finland is 99 km², overall it can be said with certainty that the area of occupancy is less than 2,000 km² in total.
