Range Description

This species' geographic range is the Caribbean versant of Mexico, from central Tamaulipas, southward along the Atlantic coast to the Yucatan peninsula to Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In the Pacific, it is found from Guerrero, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, southward to northwestern Costa Rica (0-1,530m asl). It also occurs on the Corn Islands, Nicaragua.
