Diagnosis A small and delicate species green in life and whitish, lavender, purple or pale blue in preservative. Lacks vomerine teeth. The pupils are horizontally elliptical. Has a rounded snout lacking an upper lip ridge and a dorsal pattern of rather regularly spaced pigment cells.
