Description
Colonies consist of sprawling prostrate branches with upwardly projecting pointed ends at the periphery. Radial corallites are like those of A. robusta. Colour : deep pinkish-brown or greenish-grey. Abundance: usually restricted to shallow reef environments. Common on reef margins exposed to strong wave action (Veron, 1986).
