CN: [Malay - Bunga tiga bulan], Bigleaf Hydrangea, French Hydrangea, Lacecap Hydrangea, Mophead Hydrangea, Penny Mac, Hortensia. Native of Japan; elsewhere naturalized and cultivated. H. macrophylla blossoms can be either pink, blue, or purple shades, depending on a pH-dependent mobilization and uptake of soil aluminum into the plants.
