Rebecca received her B.S. in biology from Illinois Wesleyan University and M.S. in biology from American University. Her work with nemertean worms began in 2001 during an internship to create an anatomical atlas for the nemertes.si.edu website. Currently she is employed as website coordinator for the Psychology Department at Stanford University. Rebecca is continuing research started with her Master's dissertation, describing new species in the nemertean genus Tubulanus and monographic revision of the group.
