Student Contributions to EOL Taxon Pages

Under the direction of their instructors, undergraduate and graduate students can contribute content to the Encyclopedia of Life. Student's final contributions can be published on EOL. Instructors are responsible for reviewing student work. Assignment Options:
  • Summarize species information in an overview suitable for the general public (Brief Summary; 200-300 words)
  • Write a more comprehensive taxon account (Comprehensive Description; 300-500 words)
  • Choose one or more topics such as behavior or general ecology (See Content Sections)
