Habitat
Eurasian lynx live in a variety of habitats. In Europe and Siberia they inhabit forested areas with dense ungulate populations. In Central Asia they are found in open, thinly wooded areas and rocky hills and mountains in desert regions. They are also found in rocky areas and thick woodlands throughout the northern slopes of the Himalayas. ("IUCN RED LIST", 2009; "WWF", 2009a; Niedziałkowska et al., 2006; Nowell and Jackson, 1996)
