Description

Caucasian Honeybee (Apis mellifera caucasica) on Aegopodium podagraria (Ground-Elder) in Middle Caucasus near Bakuriani, Republic of Georgia. Photographed on 10 July 2005.  It would appear, from its location, and darker colour that this is most likely the subsp. caucasica.
