DISTRIBUTION: Southern Chile, the Magellanic region, Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Shag Rocks, South Sandwich Islands, South Orkneys, South Shetlands, Antarctic Peninsula, Prince Edward and Marion Islands, Kerguelen and Macquarie Islands in depths of 6-598 m.
REMARKS: The relationship of L. pygmaea and L. ovalis will be better understood when more material from eastern Antarctica can be critically compared with material from the full range of L. pygmaea.”
