Katja Schulz commented on "File:Choerades ignea type fg01.jpg":
I have retrusted it for Asilidae, since it's clearly a robberfly and added the Lamyra ignea association in unreviewed status.
Are any of the Lasiopogon species missing from EOL? We've got woodorum from Catalogue of Life. If others are missing, let me know, and I will add them. If we have them, but ITIS does not, it's probably best to contact ITIS directly. I don't know where they are at with their Asilidae, but they are generally very responsive to feedback.

Paul Bedell commented on "File:Choerades ignea type fg01.jpg":
@Katja Schulz: I guess I inadvertently marked that saved while I was working on it. The species is actually listed as being in the genus Lamyra on ITIS. Since these genera are all very closely related and maybe in dispute, I decided to just leave it alone for the time being and remarked it "unreviewed". The original image is by Fritz Geller-Grim, the european asilid specialist, so a very trusted source. While looking over the genus Lasiopogon, I noticed some species described by R. Cannings 2002 are listed in ITIS and some aren't (e.g. L. woodorum). Where should I post about this or follow up on it? Thanks! Paul

Katja Schulz commented on "File:Choerades ignea type fg01.jpg":
@Paul Bedell: Hi Paul, you have trusted this for Asilidae rather than Choerades ignea. Wikimedia Commons images don't always land on the species pages because the taxon annotation on WC is inconsistent. If you can you confirm that the species id is correct, you can use the add new association link on the image info page to trust this image for the species.
