Metrioptera roeselii roeselii is the most widely distributed subspecies of Roesel’s Katydid. It occurs from Mongolia to Southern Scandinavia and Western Europe, and it has also been introduced to Canada and the United States (Eades et al. 2013, Kevan et al. 1962, Marshall 2006, Vickery 1965).
